For the second time in 4.5 months a wind turbine in the Red Barn Wind Farm near Livingston was damaged. Part of the tip of a blade on a wind turbine on Biddick Road, north of Livingston appears to have separated, based on photos of the wind turbine. The company that owns Red Barn stated they are investigating a damaged turbine blade. No one was injured and the damage to the turbine did not affect other turbines in the farm. On September 20, a blade separated from a different Red Barn wind turbine and fell to the ground. That blade has since been replaced and is in the final stages of being returned to service.
