Sheryl Crow sold her Tesla and donated the proceeds to NPR, which she says is “under threat by President Musk.” She explained on Instagram: “My parents always said… you are who you hang out with. There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with. So long Tesla.” Musk’s recent actions targeting NPR (among many other federal agencies) have caused controversy. Although the organization receives minimal direct federal funding, it does rely significantly on government-supported local stations for income.
