Lafayette County residents have access to a free emergency notification system. The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department is partnering with OnSolve Code Red to provide the system. Residents will be able to receive notifications that include emergency situation updates, road closure information, Pecatonica River bridge closures, utility alerts and more. Residents can receive the notifications by telephone, text message and email. Residents can sign up for the alerts online at tinyurl.com/LafCoCodeRed or by texting the keyword “LAFAYETTECO” to 24639.
