‘Real Housewives’ Star Karen Huger Gets Prison Sentence For DUI

Karen Huger from The Real Housewives Of Potomac has been sentenced to one year in prison for DUI. The 61-year-old was convicted last year for the incident in which she crashed her Maserati while intoxicated. Huger received two years in jail with one year suspended, along with fines, probation, and a driving ban upon release. Prosecutors highlighted her history of alcohol-related traffic violations. In a reunion special, Huger revealed she was seeking treatment for alcohol and antidepressant abuse, expressing remorse and taking full responsibility for the incident. Prosecutors emphasized the dangers of drunk driving and the need to prioritize road safety. (Source)
