Richland Center man arrested for OWI in Grant County

On Friday at 8:51 A.M., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office responded to a one vehicle crash on Studenberg Rd in Watterstown Township. During the course of the investigation, the driver, 26-year-old Cole Cook of Richland Center, informed the investigating deputy he didn’t know where he was or what happened. Cook showed signs of impairment during the investigation and a field sobriety test was conducted. As a result, Cooks was arrested for 2nd offense OWI. Cooks vehicle received minor damage as he drove off of Studenberg Rd and struck a tree. Cook was not injured in the crash. Blue River Fire Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
