Dairy group seeks candidates for Dubuque County royalty

Dubuque County Dairy Association seeks candidates for Dubuque County Dairy Princess and other royalty. The Dubuque County Dairy Princess is open to 16- to 24-year-olds who live or work on a dairy farm or who have an active interest in the dairy industry. Little Miss Dairy Maid and Prince Farming candidates should be between the ages of 6 and 9 as of Jan. 1 and be the daughter or son of parents or grandparents who are actively engaged in dairy farming in Dubuque County. Royalty applications are due by March 29. Judging for the royalty will take place at 9:30 a.m. April 5 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farley. Winners will be announced at the dairy association’s annual banquet on April 12 at the Milestone Event Center in Farley.
