Jelly Roll‘s “Liar” maintains its No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Airplay for the fifth consecutive week, marking his longest-leading hit on the chart. Jelly co-wrote the track with Ashley Gorley, Ben Johnson, and Taylor Phillips, and it was produced by Zach Crowell. “Liar” is lifted from his 2024 album, Beautifully Broken, which debuted at No. 1 on both Top Country Albums and the Billboard 200 last October. “This is truly incredible,” Jelly told Billboard of his achievement. “To everyone who has listened to ‘Liar’ and this entire Beautifully Broken record, y’all have changed my life. Five weeks? This is just unreal.” Jelly Roll’s success also includes seven straight No. 1 hits to start his career, tying him with Kane Brown for the longest active run of Country Airplay chart-toppers. while placing him second only to Luke Combs’ 14 straight No. 1 hits from 2017-2022 to start his celebrated career.
