Asbury is flushing fire hydrants through May 16

The city of Asbury will flush fire hydrants between Monday, April 14, and Wednesday, May 16. Customers might experience discolored water, unusual tastes or odors and/or lower than usual water pressure during that period of time, according to a city press release. The water will remain safe to consume but caution should be taken when doing laundry to prevent staining, the release states.
