Threat to Pecatonica Middle and High School found ‘not credible’

Police have found a threat made to Pecatonica Middle and High School is not credible. A post on the school district’s Facebook says, “Out of an abundance of caution, we will have a law enforcement officer present at the Middle School/High School.” The district announced there was a possible threat made to the school Wednesday night and law enforcement immediately began investigating the possible threat.
