Chicago man arrested in Dubuque for OWI with child in vehicle

Police said an intoxicated man drove his vehicle in Dubuque with a child in the back seat. 34-year-old Lorenzo D. Gee of Chicago, was arrested at 2:08 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of East 15th Street on charges of child endangerment, second-degree harassment and operating while intoxicated. Court documents state police pulled Gee over after noticing the rear tail lights on his vehicle were not working. An officer noted a smell of alcohol coming from the vehicle and said Gee showed signs of intoxication. Court documents state a preliminary breath test on Gee was positive for alcohol. During the tests, an officer spoke to a woman sitting in the back seat of the vehicle who was holding a child.
