Woman charged in Illinois stabbing arrested in Dodgeville Township

An anonymous tip led to the arrest of an Illinois woman in Iowa County. 46-year-old Natalie Jurgensmeier of Loves Park, Illinois was arrested at a premises in Dodgeville Township on an active Warrant of Arrest from the Cherry Valley Police Department in Winnebago County, Illinois. Jurgensmeier is charged in Winnebago County with aggravated battery with use of a deadly weapon and domestic battery. Jurgensmeier was wanted in a stabbing that took place last week at a Cherry Valley hotel. A man was found with non-life-threatening injuries. Jurgensmeier is being held pending extradition proceedings.
