Pair of heavy-metal concerts coming to Dubuque casino

Two popular metal bands will headline separate nights of music at a Dubuque casino this summer. In This Moment is slated to play Back Waters Stage at Q Casino + Resort on Aug. 1, according to a press release. The group will be joined by supporting acts Wargasm, Kat Von D and The Pretty Wild. Q Casino + Resort also announced an upcoming appearance by heavy metal group Mudvayne on its 25th Anniversary Tour. The band will take the Dubuque stage Sept. 11 with supporting artists Static-X and Vended. Tickets for both concerts go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday. In This Moment and Mudvayne are the sixth and seventh shows announced for the 2025 Back Waters Stage schedule thus far.
