Authorities have released the names of the drivers involved in a motorcycle versus car collision on Wednesday. The motorcyclist was who transported to a local hospital and later airlifted to University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center for treatment of life-threatening injuries was identified as 67-year-old Micheal Wieland of Alburnett, IA. The driver of the car was identified as 36-year-old Jesse Drafahl of Oelwien, IA. Drafahl was driving north on Ninth Street Southeast in Dyersville at approximately 9:45 p.m. Wednesday when he attempted to make a left turn and collided with Wieland who was southbound. Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
