Warner Bros. Discovery is changing the name of its streaming service again. Initially launched as HBO Max in 2020, it was later rebranded simply as Max in 2023, a move criticized for discarding the esteemed HBO name. However, at the upfront presentation yesterday, CEO David Zaslav said HBO Max will return this summer. (Variety)

The premiere of the new Game Of Thrones spinoff series, A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms, has been delayed to 2026. No official date was previously set, but a trailer shown at an event indicated the release year. Additionally, the third season of House Of The Dragon, the second prequel to Game Of Thrones, is still in production. (Variety)

Netflix has acquired the documentary Selena y Los Dinos, about late singer Selena Quintanilla, set to be released in winter. The film, honored at Sundance, delves into her life and legacy with unseen footage and family interviews. Directed by Isabel Castro, the documentary is produced by Selena’s siblings Suzette and AB Quintanilla III. (UPI)

Wicked will return to movie theaters for a single night on June 4th to mark the sequel’s trailer release. Tickets for the sequel, Wicked: For Good (which is set to hit theaters on November 21st), are already available. (UPI)

Disney announced that Captain America: Brave New World will stream exclusively on Disney+ starting May 28th. The film features Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, the new Captain America, facing an international incident after meeting with President Thaddeus Ross. The movie has grossed over $415 million globally.
