Iowa Auditor Rob Sand raises $2.25 million in 24 hours for his campaign

State Auditor Rob Sand’s campaign for governor has broken Iowa’s record for the most funds raised on the first day of a gubernatorial campaign. According to a Facebook post from Rob Sand for Iowa Sand has raised $2.25 million in the first 24 hours with donations from all 99 Iowa Counties. Sand says, “These last 24 hours have proven that Iowans are rejecting the status quo that has left them worse off, and are ready for something different.” In an additional post, Rob Sand for Iowa mentioned their yard signs sold out in minutes.
