Ice Dinosaurs opens at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium

Get ready for a field trip of epic proportions at the National Mississippi River Museum at their summer exhibit Ice Dinosaurs: The Lost World of the Alaskan Artic. After the success of a dinosaur exhibit in 2016 River Museum staff wanted to bring another back. The River Museum is only the third museum to feature Imagine Exhibition’s Ice Dinosaurs exhibit. Dinosaurs might not immediately make sense to feature in the River Museum, but the museum’s Marketing & Communications Manager, Emily Adlfinger explained how dinosaurs do tie in. 

Guests will be able to see authentic life-size dinosaurs and touchable fossils throughout the exhibit. As well as follow along in the year of a life of one of the baby dinosaurs. Adlfinger says the exhibit is something new and will provide a conservation lesson regarding dinosaurs to all attendees. 

Ice Dinosaurs opens to the public today and will be in Dubuque until September 14. This exhibit is included with your museum admission.
