Lancaster residents might notice unusual noise or activity today during a tactical law-enforcement training exercise. The Southwest Wisconsin Emergency Response Team exercise will occur form 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today at multiple houses on South Adams Street, between East Oak Street and East Lincoln Avenue, near Grant Regional Health Center, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Department. An online announcement states that there is no risk to area residents and no access restrictions in the area.
