On Wednesday at 8:15 PM The Iowa County Communications Center received a report of an overturned semi crash on Highway 80 near Aide Road in the Township of Pulaski. The Highland Fire Department, Highland EMS, Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies, Alliant Energy, and the Department of Natural Resources responded to the scene. The driver was transported to a local hospital by ambulance. According to a Facebook post by the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department the semi was hauling eggs and clean-ups operations of the scene will continue for approximately 10 hours today. The Sheriff’s Department requested people drive with caution in the area, anticipate possible delays, and consider alternate routes if available.
