Montfort Pool not opening for 2025 season

The Montfort Pool will be closed for the 2025 season due to a major pump failure at the end of the 2024 season. The cost of a replacement pump is just short of the operating cost for an entire year. According to a Facebook post by the Montfort Pool, with the anticipated rebuild/renovation, the replacement of the failed equipment is not a sound investment for the village at this time.
