A Wausau driver was arrested early Thursday for allegedly driving while under the influence with children in the vehicle. At 12:15 a.m. along I-90/94 westbound, a Wisconsin State Patrol Trooper reportedly received a complaint about a maroon SUV that was unable to maintain a lane or speed. The trooper found the vehicle and stopped it near mile marker 92 in Sauk County. 28-year-old Tyquaniesha Bell failed a field sobriety test. Bell was arrested Bell for operating while intoxicated – seventh offense, with two children under 16 years of age in the vehicle. A 7th offense OWI is a Class F felony, meaning she will face a minimum of three years in prison and $25,000 in fines, with additional penalties because there were children in the vehicle.
