Iowa County is receiving outside help following a cyber-attack that was discovered on April 28. The County has engaged a vendor to assist with restoring their land records system and search functionality. The Iowa County website says, “This is a time-intensive effort, involving the review of over one million images. We are working diligently to bring the system back online as quickly and safely as possible.” The full restoration will take time, but Iowa County is hoping for a more definitive timeline in the coming days as the vendor team completes its assessment. Updates will be shared on the Iowa County website.
