For her senior exit project at Highland High School, Katherine Tarrell decided to do something truly special—she wrote and illustrated her own book. Katherine’s book, titled “IncREDible Friends,” draws inspiration from her Grandma Jean and her own experiences growing up with red hair. The story celebrates what makes each person unique, encouraging readers to embrace their differences. She spent more than 150 hours on the book. Katherine has been visiting local schools, sharing her story and her book in hopes of inspiring others.
