To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers recently signed a $4,199,782 contract to resurface Highway 80 from the Illinois state line to Highway 11 and Highway 11 from the Village of Hazel Green west limits to the north limits in Hazel Green, Grant County. Preliminary work is scheduled to begin June 6. Iverson Construction is the prime contractor for the project. The project is designed to replace deteriorated pavement along the project corridor. Project improvements include resurfacing, updated curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk and pavement markings. During construction, Highway 11 and Highway 80 will remain open to traffic. Work will be completed under flagging operations and lane shifts. Project completion is scheduled for September 5, 2025 dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
