National Geographic Channel’s upcoming 25-hour SharkFest programming block will showcase the premiere of the documentary Jaws @ 50 on July 10th. The documentary commemorates the 50th anniversary of the iconic film Jaws, directed by Steven Spielberg and featuring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw, and Richard Dreyfuss. It delves into the creation of Jaws and its lasting influence. SharkFest will also present Sharks Up Close with Bertie Gregory on July 5th, followed by Investigation Shark Attack and Super Shark Highway. Sharks of the North is scheduled for July 12th, with Shark Quest: Hunt for the Apex Predator airing on July 13th. National Geographic promises a comprehensive exploration of shark behavior and conservation efforts in this year’s SharkFest. (Upi)
