Platteville Regional Chamber is hosting its Farmer Appreciation Lunch this month, held annually for June Dairy Month. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. June 19 at the chamber front porch on W. Business 151. A $5 meal consisting of a grilled cheese or grilled ham and cheese sandwich, chips, milk or water, and Pioneer Sweets ice cream will be available. Platteville-area farmers eat for free. Proceeds from the lunch will be donated to Blockhouse Builders 4-H club. For carry out, call ahead to place orders at 608-348-8888.
