Dubuque Police Department reported today that there are no new developments in a case involving a body found inside a parked car in a downtown Dubuque parking ramp on June 5. Police are awaiting the positive identification of the adult male as well as the notification of the man’s family. A press release issued Friday stated that on June 5, police officers responded to a parking ramp on W. Fourth St. to investigate a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the ramp. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased subject inside the vehicle. The body of an adult male was removed and sent to the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner laboratory for an autopsy.
