The Prairie du Chien Police Department and the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office have been jointly investigating multiple individuals for meth distribution throughout the Prairie du Chien and Clayton County area. On June 5, law enforcement executed a search warrant in the 400 block of South Beaumont Road. During the search, officers seized a small amount of methamphetamine and meth paraphernalia. While enroute to a second search warrant location in Prairie du Chien, law enforcement observed a male with active arrest warrants exiting a known drug house. 43-year-old Sean M. Hogan of Prairie du Chien, was arrested and a subsequent search revealed methamphetamine and related paraphernalia. Hogan was booked for Possession of Methamphetamine and charges from his outstanding warrants. At the second residence, located in the 100 block of South Prairie Street, officers served a search warrant and discovered multiple items indicative of methamphetamine sales, including approximately one ounce of crystal methamphetamine. 64-year-old Jeffrey G. Seymour, of Prairie du Chien, was arrested and booked for various meth distribution related offenses. Following these searches, officers observed two individuals leaving the previously known drug house on bicycles. Both were detained and arrested. A search of their residence was conducted and resulted in the location of methamphetamine, a digital scale, hundreds of small baggies used for drug packaging, and numerous additional items associated with the sale and delivery of methamphetamine. 47-year-old Sheri L. Schroeder of Prairie du Chien was arrested for Delivery of Methamphetamine. 51-year-old Kelly Bo Slavings of Prairie du Chien was arrested and booked for various meth distribution related offenses. The Prairie du Chien Police Department and the Clayton County Sheriff’s Office continue to actively investigate methamphetamine trafficking within the region. Additional arrests and charges may be forthcoming as the investigation progresses.
