Water taxi by Black Hawk Bridge discontinued

A water taxi service on the Mississippi River by the Black Hawk Bridge ended yesterday. According to the Iowa DOT, since the bridge reopened Monday, usage of the water taxi dropped to “almost zero”. The DOT kept the service following the bridge reopening as a “scenic and relaxing way to cross the river.”
