Platteville Community Fund, a component fund of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, awarded about $27,000 in grants recently to eleven local nonprofit organizations and projects. The fund aims to support projects or programs that support innovative projects for children and families, community access, and sustainability as well as those for events and activities that promote the arts and diversity in the Platteville area. City of Platteville Museum Department, Family Advocates, Inc., Rountree Gallery, Grant County Humane Society, Inspiring Community Inc., Jamison Museum Association, Inc., Platteville Fire Department, Platteville Main Street Program, Inc., Platteville School District, and Wisconsin Badger Camp, Inc. All received grants.
