One person was airlifted following a crash involving three motorcycles and a vehicle in Lafayette County. On Friday at 6:20 PM Deputies responded to County G in Belmont Township for an accident. 24-year-old Gauge A Hayes of Montfort was driving his motorcycle southbound on County G when he crested a hill and struck a motorcycle operated by 21-year-old Samantha F Debeukelar of Richland Center. Hayes then struck a motorcycle operated by 24-year-old Thomas K Maughan of Montfort, who slid into the bumper of a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Graham D Miller of Linden. Maughan was transported with minor injuries, and Hayes was transported by AirCare to UW Hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. Debeukelar, Miller, and Miller’s passenger, 19-year-old Mackenzie A Martin of Boscobel were not injured. Miller was cited for Operating without a Driver’s License due to expiration. Hayes was cited for Non-Registration, Unreasonable and Imprudent Speed, and Operating a motorcycle without a Valid License. Two motorcycles were towed from the scene with disabling damage. The vehicle and other motorcycle were driven from the scene with minor damage.
