A sports network’s flagship program will spotlight an iconic sports movie location this summer. ESPN’s SportsCenter will feature the Field of Dreams Movie Site during its “50 States in 50 Days” nationwide tour, according to a press release issued by Field of Dreams. The release states that SportsCenter will record segments at the site near Dyersville and broadcast from the field on July 25. Kevin Negandhi will serve as the anchor during the Dyersville appearance, which will occur during a youth baseball tournament. An ESPN press release states that the tour marks the first time in 20 years that SportsCenter has embarked on a cross-country tour of this magnitude. This summer’s tour will showcase the Green Bay Packers during a stop on July 26 in Wisconsin and a Major League Baseball game at Chicago’s Wrigley Field during a stop in Illinois on Aug. 6.
