A Dodgeville man is accused of fifth offense operating while impaired after fleeing Shorewood Hills police on Saturday. The incident began on Saturday evening when officers conducing a traffic patrol along University Avenue attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding. The driver continued to an apartment complex near Frey Street. In Madison, stopped, and fled on foot. The man was caught in the 4500 block of Old Middleton Road and arrested. Then man was arrested on tentative charges of fifth offense OWI, felony bail jumping, resisting arrest resulting in soft tissue injuries, and two more counts of resisting arrest. While waiting on a blood draw at a local hospital the man attempted to flee again.
