Soybean growers in three Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board districts have through August 15 to vote for candidates for three open seats in the 2025 election. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) is accepting ballots beginning on July 10. Three of the seven districts have an open seat this year, and each has one nominee: David Justman of Platteville is nominated for District 3 which includes Crawford, Grant, Richland, Sauk, and Vernon counties. Patrick M. Mullooly of Clinton is the nominee for District 5 which includes Green, Iowa, Lafayette, and Rock counties.
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection is mailing ballots to eligible soybean growers.
