In response to recent storm damage, the city of Dubuque is collecting yard waste free of charge. City crews will collect tree limbs and branches that were downed as a result of storms Thursday and Friday, according to a press release. The release states that the collection will begin Tuesday, July 15 and conclude Monday, July 21. Crews can only collect storm-damaged branches or limbs up to 3 inches in diameter. Limbs and branches must be placed at the curb or alley line where residents normally set out solid waste containers.
