Texas natives Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum have assembled a star-studded lineup of musicians and special guests to take part in the Band Together Texas benefit concert at Moody Center in Austin on August 17. The event will raise funds for those affected by the devastating July 4 flooding in Texas, with proceeds supporting The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and Central Texas Community Foundation. The event will feature performances from hosts Lambert and McCollum, along with Ryan Bingham, Wade Bowen, Kelly Clarkson, Ronnie Dunn, Dylan Gossett, Jack Ingram, Cody Johnson, Lyle Lovett, Lukas Nelson, and more. “Texans helping Texas,” wrote Lambert. “My buddy @parkermccollum and I have called up some good friends to help our home state rebuild. Let’s band together y’all. ” The night will also feature appearances by stars and athletes with Texas ties, as well as “tributes to first responders and flood victims, including stories of rescue and resilience shared on stage by emergency personnel.” Ticket presale begins on Wednesday (July 23), with general on-sale starting on Friday (July 25).
