Casino Queen Marquette is rebranding as it moves to a new permanent landside facility next year. The casino will be renamed Bally’s Marquette. The name change is part of a $21 million project to develop an onshore facility for the riverboat casino and follows Bally’s Corp.’s acquisition of The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc., which owns Casino Queen Marquette. In addition to bringing the gaming floor on land, the casino’s move will bring new dining offerings and allow for direct access from the parking lot, eliminating a 440-yard walk from the current dockside riverboat. The casino’s transformation is expected to create close to 80 new jobs, with part-time and full-time positions available across various departments.
