A Wisconsin State Patrol trooper arrested a man early Monday morning who they said was driving under the influence with three children under the age of 16 in his vehicle. The trooper stopped the 31-year-old Muscoda man just before 2 a.m. along I-94 east of Highway 26. The man had allegedly been racing another vehicle on the interstate. The man was booked into the Jefferson County Jail. He faces charges of operating while under the influence with a passenger, misdemeanor bail jumping, operating after revocation and failure to install an ignition interlock device. The passengers in the vehicle were turned over to a sober and responsible adult.
