Dubuque motorcyclists injured in crash

Police said a motorcyclist was taken to a hospital for an evaluation Friday after a Dubuque crash. 65-year-old David A. Rath of Dubuque, complained of pain and was transported by Dubuque Fire Department to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital, according to a police crash report. The crash happened at about 2:35 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Bluff and Ninth streets. The report states that 66-year-old Jeffrey T. Foley of Montfort, Wis., was eastbound on Ninth Street and ran a red light, hitting Rath, who was southbound on Bluff Street. Foley was cited with failure to respond to a steady red light.
