Mineral Point man arrested following traffic complaint

Tuesday evening, Iowa County Communications Center received a traffic complaint for a possibly intoxicated driver on High Street in Mineral Point. Mineral Point Police and multiple Iowa County Sheriff’s Office units responded to the area, and the vehicle was located a short time later. As a result of this call, 41-year-old Steven M Schave of Mineral Point was arrested for misdemeanor Bail Jumping and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Schave was transported to the Iowa County Jail, where he was booked and remains.
