Viola woman arrested for OWI

Early Saturday morning, An Iowa County deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 14 near Hayward Crossing Road in the Arena Township. As a result of stop, 43-year-old Stacey J Burkhamer of Viola, was arrested for OWI 1st offense. Burkhamer was also cited for Speeding and Drinking an Intoxicant in a Motor Vehicle on a Highway. She was transported to the Iowa County Jail where she was booked and later released to a responsible party.
