Iowa County 911 Communications Center call volume for August 17 – 23

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department has announced their weekly call numbers for August 17 – August 23.  Over the past week, the Iowa County 911 Communication Center handled a total of 529 calls for service. The top calls for service were 102 traffic stops, 8 disturbances, 13 motor vehicle accidents, 55 EMS calls, 26 911 misdials, 22 traffic complaints, and 9 animal issues. Year-to-date in 2025 there has been 15,468 calls. In 2024 there were 15,409 calls. That is an increase of 59 calls. In the last week there were17 individuals booked into the Iowa County Jail for various offenses and holds.
