Successful Chipper Day

Another successful Chipper Day is in the books. The event, held yesterday [Aug. 26], was hosted by Nutrien Ag Solutions and Reddy Ag Service in Stitzer. Producers were able to bring in their whole plant corn stalk samples, where they were tested for moisture content.  This year, 177 samples were tested, with an average moisture of 72.85%.  Lunch was provided by the Southwest Wisconsin Pork Producers. In addition, Rock River Laboratory, Inc. In partnership with Southwest Tech conducted the testing.
