MGM+ has announced that its new drama series Robin Hood will premiere Sunday, November 2nd. The 10-episode season begins with a two-episode debut in the U.S., followed by weekly releases. The story follows Rob, played by Jack Patten, and Marian, portrayed by Lauren McQueen, as they fight corruption after the Norman invasion. Sean Bean plays the Sheriff of Nottingham. (Story URL)

Michael Longfellow is leaving NBC’s Saturday Night Live after three seasons. He becomes the third cast member to exit in recent weeks, following Devon Walker and Emil Wakim. Longfellow’s departure is notable because he was often featured on “Weekend Update” and had been viewed as a possible future anchor. Season 51 of SNL is expected to include major changes. NBC will air four special Sunday editions of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon following Sunday Night Football this fall. The late-night program will run after local news on September 21, October 26, November 16, and December 7. Jessie J has canceled her U.S. concerts and postponed her European tour as she continues treatment for breast cancer. Heart singer Ann Wilson will be the subject of a new documentary titled In My Voice. Hilary Duff has signed on to star in Hulu’s upcoming drama series Pretty Ugly, which is currently in development. The project is adapted from Kirker Butler’s 2015 novel and will be written by Butler. Sting is facing legal action from his former Police bandmates over royalties from the hit song “Every Breath You Take.” Guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland claim that they never received co-writing credit or royalties from the 1983 track. Fox News anchor John Roberts has been hospitalized with a severe case of malaria. The 68-year-old journalist was diagnosed with the mosquito-borne illness on August 25th after experiencing body aches and “uncontrolled shivering” during a broadcast. Roberts said he felt ill “from the top of my head to the tip of my toes” and initially thought it was the flu. Pauly Shore recently underwent a surgical procedure to remove a noncancerous tumor from his pancreas. The 57-year-old actor revealed that the tumor had likely been present for 15-20 years, but was only recently detected during a preventative full-body scan. Nip/Tuck actor Dylan Walsh suffered a medical emergency, potentially a stroke, prior to his car accident in New Jersey earlier this month, his rep claims. The actor’s vehicle struck two utility poles after he had consumed alcohol at a local bar. Walsh’s wife and two children were also in the car at the time.
