AAA offering Tow-to-Go for holiday weekend

A free towing program will be available for impaired drivers this weekend in multiple states, including Iowa and Wisconsin. The “Tow to Go” program from AAA is available from 6 p.m. Friday, to 6 a.m. Tuesday. According to a press release, AAA will dispatch a tow truck to transport impaired drivers and their vehicles to a safe location within a 10-mile radius. The free program should be used as a last resort and cannot be booked in advance. The program is open to members of AAA, as well as nonmembers.
