Two people are dead after their UTV was struck by a truck on County Highway CC in Richland County. The crash occurred on Thursday after the driver of the UTV stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of County Highway CC and Hanko Drive, ultimately being hit by a westbound pickup truck driven by 39-year-old Kerry McBain of Cazenovia as they crossed the intersection. The UTV rolled down the roadway and the occupants were found unresponsive. Life saving measures were attempted, but both occupants of the UTV were pronounced dead at the scene. Officials have identified the driver of the UTV as 80-year-old James Koelker and the passenger as 79-year-old Sandra Koelker both of Cuba City. The crash remains under investigation.
