Fennimore man arrested for OWI causing injury

On Friday at 7:15 PM the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Edgington Road and Willow Springs Road Eden Township. Cobb Fire, Cobb First Response, Highland EMS and multiple Iowa County deputies responded to the scene. As a result of the crash, 27-year-old Jose Guadalupe Serrano Sanchez of Fennimore was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated causing injury– 1st Offense and Operating without a Valid License 2nd offense within 3 years, and was also cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way, Possession of Open Intoxicants by Driver and Inattentive Driving. He was transported to a local hospital and later released to a responsible party.
