Seth Rogen’s comedy The Studio led the Creative Arts Emmy Awards Saturday night with 9 wins. Close behind, The Penguin collected eight trophies, while Severance received six. Bryan Cranston won Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for The Studio while Julianne Nicholson earned Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks. The main Emmy broadcast is set for September 14th on CBS. Comedian Jon Reep has been indicted on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in Hickory, North Carolina. Police said he faces one charge of second-degree exploitation and nine charges of third-degree exploitation. Reep was arrested Friday, posted a $260,000 bond, and was released. He is best known for Dodge commercials, and winning NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2007. (Story URL)
