Seth Rogen’s comedy The Studio led the Creative Arts Emmy Awards Saturday night with 9 wins. Close behind, The Penguin collected eight trophies, while Severance received six. Bryan Cranston won Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for The Studio while Julianne Nicholson earned Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for Hacks. The main Emmy broadcast is set for September 14th on CBS. Comedian Jon Reep has been indicted on 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor in Hickory, North Carolina. Police said he faces one charge of second-degree exploitation and nine charges of third-degree exploitation. Reep was arrested Friday, posted a $260,000 bond, and was released. He is best known for Dodge commercials, and winning NBC’s Last Comic Standing in 2007. (Story URL)

The West Point Association Of Graduates has canceled a ceremony that was set to award Tom Hanks the Sylvanus Thayer Award. The honor recognizes a citizen whose career reflects the academy’s values of “Duty, Honor, Country.” The Association’s president and CEO, said the group wanted to focus on preparing cadets “to lead, fight, and win as officers in the world’s most lethal force.” (Story URL)

The Broadway revival of Cabaret will end its run nearly a month early after star Billy Porter withdrew from the show. Porter, who plays the Emcee, is recovering from what the production described as a “serious case of sepsis.” Doctors expect him to fully recover but have advised rest. Patrick Schwarzenegger and Abby Champion were married on Saturday in northern Idaho during an outdoor ceremony overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene. Family members in attendance included Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver, Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt, and Chris Pratt. Charlie Sheen is opening up about his personal life ahead of a new Netflix documentary and memoir. In an interview with People, the actor spoke for the first time about past sexual experiences with men, calling the process of sharing “fu-king liberating.” He said those encounters took place during his drug use, which included crack cocaine, before his sobriety in 2017.
