One person was airlifted following a crash in Paris Township. On Sunday around 6:30pm, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one–vehicle accident with injuries on Oak Rd. 17-year-old Tristan Eastlick of Platteville, was southbound on Oak Road and was negotiating a curve in the road, he met a second vehicle traveling northbound. Eastlick swerved to avoid colliding with the other vehicle, which resulted in Easlick entering the ditch and losing control of his vehicle. Eastlick struck a tree and became trapped inside the vehicle with serious injuries. Eastlick was extracted from the vehicle and transported UW-Hospital in Madison by Medflgith. Eastlick’s vehicle was a total loss and speed was believed to be a factor.
