Bicyclist medflighted following crash in Arena

On Wednesday shortly before noon, the Iowa County Communications Center received a report of a bicycle accident on Amacher Hollow Road in the Arena Township. Arena EMS, Arena Fire Department and Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene. Due to injuries sustained in the accident, Med Flight responded to the scene and transported the bicyclist to a Madison hospital. County Road T to Amacher Hollow Road was closed for approximately 30 minutes for a Med Flight landing zone.
