Gas prices down from last year

The national average price of gas is down 4.5 cents from last year, standing at $3.12. In Iowa the average price of gas is $2.93 a gallon, which is an increase of 9.3 cents from last week. According to Gassbuddy.com the average price of gas in Wisconsin is $2.88 a gallon, which is an increase of 3.7 cents from last week.
